Birds in my vent

Louvers are bent

They chirp incessantly

 .

I haven’t slept in a week

Though chicks I’d like to see

 .

Soon they will hatch

My vent, I’ll patch

Never again rent for free

 .

And when next I need a nature show

I’ll see it on TV
