Dawns on Me
I woke up late and missed the dawn.
Tribulation’s already spawn.
The light of day consumed the stars,
sounds of birds replaced by cars.

But spring is here and days are long.
Nature’s rebirth is going strong.
A failed alarm won’t trouble me.
