A seeker of rainbows,
I gaze to the sky.
My world’s looking up,
as the clouds cry.
The sun returning,
the blues drift away.
gone is the gray.
A dream fulfilled,
a path to new.
My rainbow now frames,
a more colorful view.
The world our canvas and you my art.
I’ll paint your portrait with my heart.
Your face a rainbow that shines on me.
Framed we shall be for all to see.
For every high there’s a low.
Without the rain there is no rainbow.
Without a fire there is no heat.
Hearts of ice seldom meet.
Pasts haunt and futures feared.
Inward bound or life shared.
Time is never what it seems.
Joyous am I you’re in my dreams.
Time together at the old town beach,
endless waves within our reach,
though sunsets and rainbows often missed.
Memories made of those times we’ve kissed.
