Blind Faith

If love is blind I need to see no more.
The vision in my mind’s everlasting and pure.
If love is blind the future I now see,
our senses felt as one, together you and me.
~
If to know love’s blind the truth then is clear.
Each time I close my eyes her touch is always near.
If to know what you feel your sight then is set.
Eyes see each other and stare with no regret.

Morning Triku #177 ~ Random Waves

Beyond the Glass

My windows are closed.
The air cold and leaves fallen.
Yet birds sing somewhere.
~

Sticky

With the glue of two,
broken hearts can mend anew.
Or someone gets stuck.
~

Self-Love

Love Unimpassioned,
is much like one hand clapping,
every morning.

Warm and Sunny

Nights end all too soon.
Tomorrows begin with a setting moon.
The sun will rise, together we’ll be.
Our day’s near, my sunshine I’ll see.
.
Kisses felt in the heart.
Mine beats faster from the start.
Todays end, then another there’ll be.
The future’s bright for you and me.

The Good, the Bad and the Lovely

Your daily greeting I wouldn’t miss.
This morning’s message comes with a kiss.
With a smile I wake, thanks to you.
The smile felt the whole day through.

And though this poem’s not my best,
tomorrows may beat all the rest.
And if not then I’ll try every day,
to express the love I find hard to say.

Carved in Stone

wickford cove

We’ve dinner on the bay.
The sunset’s on its way.
Evening spent at home,
a page of our life’s tome.
.
I’ve visions of our time,
I write for you in rhyme.
Words I present to you,
to show my love is true.
.
You’re always on my mind,
because you’re sweet and kind.
Your smile lets me know,
that our love will grow.
.
Your touch warms my heart.
Each day’s a brand new start.
And when this day does end,
a sonnet I shall send.
.
These poems that I share,
is to show you that I care.
These words that you read,
is to know your love I need.

More Love, Less Stress

In times of worry and feeling stress,
when plans made become a mess,
you’ll find the answers no need to guess.
You’re surrounded by friends, no need to regress.
.
Troubling thoughts we will address,
my care for you I’ll gladly express.
Our love will grow stronger, never less.
And when a hug’s needed I’ll always say yes.

Dawns’ on Me

The sun has risen, a poet’s alone.
He‘s perched on a porch,
atop his worn throne.

The birds whisper clues,
of nature’s good news.
And words start to flow.

At the top of the stair,
my love dreams there,
awaiting a kiss on her cheek.

Eyes soon to open,
we both will see,
this day has bloomed for she.

Multiplicity

My pad today was totally blank,
it’s the bliss I feel I have to thank.
I woke up early to see the sunrise;
the truth was there before my eyes.
~
My darling slumbers peacefully,
her dreams, I’m sure, are with me.
And as the dark turns to light,
I’ve warm thoughts of our cozy night.
~
Seems all the negatives have burned away,
now only pluses fill my day.
I’ll wake her soon and my sun will shine.
I’ll kiss her softly, truly thankful she’s mine.
~
The kisses returned with a smile,
and then we’ll chat and giggle a while.
We’ll both then rise for our day anew.
And we’ll share our bliss, now times two.

The Sands of Time Between My Toes

As a boy I walked the beach every day.
I stared at the horizon to find my way.
Visions of tomorrow filled my head;
days without fear and a true love to wed.
~
Ripples between obscured the view.
Sink or swim’s all I could do.
Years thrashing to stay afloat,
my life preserver’s gone and I no boat.
~
From the storm a distant shore arose.
Memories conjured with sand between her toes.
With a youthful splash and mind in the skies,
yesterday’s future floated before my eyes.
~
Was a summer returned, the same and new.
That time’s now gone but dreams came true.
The boy now grown, ending his wait.
If a past meant to be it wouldn’t be late.

Tis

Loving’s easy to fall’s hard.
“Tis the life of this old bard”
Futures await a new sunrise.
Honesty’s seen feeling lies.
~
Eyes gaze upon another’s soul.
Walls unscaled take a toll.
When “I love you” whispered,
volume’s to oft heard.
~
The vision’s carried in the heart.
We’re to shed with care, as an art.
A curse, demon, gift or friend,
a love of love can never end.
~
Wheels turn, neutrals unknown.
Reverse a journey and forward’s grown.
Loving’s easy, to find’s hard.
“Tis the life of this old bard”

Underway

Ships set sail on an endless sea.
It may be the first or last to be.
Success or failure’s just a chance.
Sink or swim, much like romance.
~
Yet it is the sea that transports life.
Swells and ebbs or filled with strife.
Horizons change up the mast, hearty souls say.
Harbors calm guide this soulful hearts way.

Art for Sight

Second guesses are twice wrong.
If you don’t like the music don’t write the song.
When a heart has a question the answer’s foregone.
A canvas stretched can’t mimic the dawn.
~
Too much thought can be a curse.
A little more can be a verse.
Half the time we’re half a sleep.
We feel safe in the dreams we peep.
~
100% per try comes once.
50/50 you’re a dunce.
Start from scratch, shoot for the moon.
You may miss but you’ll know soon.
~
Primal intuition on cave walls bear.
The futures instinct paints ones fear.

Passionate Passage

Just a little exercise to see what I do,
I’m going the bathroom to write about poo.
I’ve fluffy white paper that floats from the wall.
And a sink nearby, in case I fall.
*
In a window with shutters I control the scene.
But the stench still oozes in-between.
There’s a mirror that magically hangs above.
It’s never quite straight, much like love.
*
The image’s the same no matter the tilt.
It tells no lies or feels no guilt.
I’ll wipe the smudges, the exercise through.
I passed the test but slipped in do.
