Springtime beckons to one and all; life’s beginning, unlike the fall. Evening’s crisp and tomorrow shines, blooms hide the naked lines. ~ The air is fresh with skies of blue; warmth thaws the winters’ view. Days growing longer on a smiling face, sunset walks set the pace. ~ Summer’s next, its appeal clear, but cool it’s only one fourth the year. Spring is best I must confess, a shared opinion’s my seasoned guess.
I knew one day the time would come. I knew one day my mind would numb. This world it seems has gone awry. Opinions flourish and people die. ~ Violence consumes and tears are shed. Words are spoken but nothing’s said. Charts are made to show us why. Colors obscure the pictures’ lie. ~ Don’t be fooled this April day. For one and all is what I say. Numbers are tricky and often sly. So think more equal so less will die.
Once in a lifetime can be just that, often missed because we sat. Legs propel as does time, mediocrity’s chosen as is sublime. ~ Life’s meaning is what we make, creative thought is no mistake. Opinions are found all around, ramifications we are bound. ~ It’s better to give than to loan. Happiness shared sets the tone. Once in a lifetime is every day. Rise to the occasion, make it your way. ~ When brains and hearts work as one, when each a say the work is done. Confident in our choices made, perpetual harmony to never fade. ~ Though just a theory, I feel sure, love and trust is the only cure. But opinions are found all around; as we’ve heard only some are sound.
